Coffee, Chocolate and Blogs

As I sat in the front windows of Coffee Ethic this morning, enjoying a cup of Askinosie Hot Cocoa and conversation with a friend, I made an impulse decision to start a blog. Every good company has a blog, right?

I'm already looking forward to future posts of party ideas, tablescapes and one of my favorite pastimes-weddings. Thanks Miriam, Coffee Ethic and Askinosie Chocolate for providing me with enough inspiration to get started. I might even plan a coffee and chocolate themed tablescape in honor of the new blog. Sounds delicious!

Ten Things About Tina

1. I love to throw a party. Every moment in life is worth celebrating. Even Monday's.

2. I am obsessed with paper products. I love stationary so much that I collect it instead of use it. It's too pretty to write on.

3. I am honored that many of my friends call me when they are thinking of hosting a get-together. I love to inspire others to celebrate their life moments too.

4. My kids also love to entertain. My six year old son often requests to host parties for his friends. Though Claire is only 3- I know she is going to be my social butterfly.

5. I love giving surprises but don't really like to be surprised myself.

6. I cannot function throughout the day without Diet Coke.

7. My favorite time of day is putting the kids to bed. Stories, jumping on the bed or playing tickle monster really is the best end to any day.

8. To me, following your passion is like breathing. I'm so lucky to have a supportive family that allows me to be creative and to really love my "second job." (My first job is being a mom.)

9. I don't have a nickname. I guess Tina is short enough.

10. My obsession with shoes can be explained by the fact that I'm only 5'3". A girl needs a little height every now and then.
